It's late; we're tired, but clean (for the first time in ages it seems), a bit drunk, and about to watch some TV.The kitchen floor tiles are finished, now, although I'd begun to think we'd never get there. The room may actually look good one day.
By way of an update, my Solicitor rang the other day ... Hayley's solicitor has offered an out-of-court settlement of 8k. Although I do realise that I'd get more if I held out, I'm accepting on the basis that I'm making a point and that it must hurt her a lot simply to have to come clean. Hopefully, everything will be cleared up before the two-year mark.
I'm off to watch TV now ... 'night :)

Went into town last night with a bunch of people from work. It was good to get away from the dust and bits of kitchen unit that seem to have taken over the house lately.Tuesday 5 October 2004 22:01
