Apologies for the rubbish 'phone camera picture, but it's all I had (I forgot my camera). Anyway, the picture doesn't do Supergrass justice; they were very good. I was surprised (sorry for doubting you, Phil).

Wednesday, Eels. Thursday, Eels. Two nights of Eels; what more could anyone want?
To meet the man himself again? Yes, we did that.
To go backstage with the band at the Royal Albert Hall? Too bloody right, did that too!!! OK, so I missed the coach to Manchester, but it was worth the risk. The only negative in what's been a truly great couple of days was forgetting the name of the lighting man, who's just simply a very nice bloke, and the names of the two girls from London without whom I'd never have sat in a bar, backstage, with Eels. I shall come back down to earth soon, but not yet.
