Sea of Tranquility

I’m on my second pint of Sea of Tranquility, another beer from Atom. Fish free, cloudy but very nice; 6.5% though, so there won’t be a third.

A very cool thing seems to be happening in the world of real Cloudy might be catching on. Well, you don’t get more real.

Anarchy

Went to my local after work, on the promise of vegan beer (an IPA, unfined, from Anarchy). Knowing that my second in command has work early tomorrow, I took the opportunity to fit in a beer whenever I wasn’t being observed. Which probably wasn’t sensible.

So now I don’t feel too great. I blame my reduction in alcohol intake. I never felt like this when I had a big intake.

But, and I don’t understand why, I have lots of new (shiny) pound coins.

Local

It’s been an emotional few days. My second in command’s Dad has been here for a few days. We’ve introduced him to the Bridge (hotel) and, last night, to the Tuns. And some other stuff.

A really nice bloke who appreciates hills and old stuff. We’ll be using his house as a base for a night out in Stamford soon.

He’s currently en route to Kings Cliffe (via Peterborough) his first train trip in 40 years.

We’re in our local right now, waiting for confirmation of his arrival. And I’ve noticed a minor typo.

Reinheitsgebot

After a few days with nice, fish and chemical free, beer, it was nice to stop off at a Samuel Smith’s pub (St Mary’s Vaults) in Stamford.

I only had a couple of pints of extra stout, but it was good to enjoy decent (vegan) beer on our return.

One might think that the past few days were spent in metro stations and bars. While that’s partially correct, these were just examples of the kind of pictures taken with my phone.

Bier

I’m sure I’ll say more on the subject, but (with limited data) I have to say that I love Berlin.
